ACTING
Cora Marie Sfida’s acting career began when she was just a small girl with pigtails dancing around in the basement, making up characters, and creating plays and films. Cut to 25 years and she’s still doing the same thing. Cora began her training in earlier years, with community theatre, school productions, private acting, vocal lessons and every dance form you can imagine. After, she began to study at the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point for a BFA in Acting and a Minor in Dance. Shortly after, she moved to New York to attend the Maggie Flanigan Studio in their two-year Miesner Acting Program as well as an extra year for a business program. Concluding her graduation from MFS, she has gone on to perform in short plays, short films, commercials, and more. This has led to her first international short film this past November in Munich, Germany. She is a driven actor who strives to find the deep treasures hidden under the surface of the character.
FILM
Cora found her love of writing, directing, and editing at an early age when creating, writing, and directing plays while forcing all the neighborhood girls to play characters. This led to Cora’s first director debut in 2020 with her first short film, ‘Bad Seed’. Cut to the present day, where Cora has completed her fifth short film as a writer, director, editor, and soundtrack composer. Her most recent work includes, ‘Bad Seed’ (2021), ‘Tarot’ (2023), Crawl Space (2025), Choose Your Fate (2025), and upcoming in 2026, Cazm. She strives to bring out the human condition and passion to each film and helps young artists bring their vision to life.
